Welcome to St Philip & St James Church
We are a growing community of local people that meet together to worship God, to get to know each other better, and to serve the community around us. We enjoy a mixture of worship songs and styles bringing the best of traditional worship to meet contemporary songs and worship styles. Our values are to “honour one another, glorify God, and bless this community” and we encourage church members to work out their faith in their daily lives and to share their faith with others.
We are a church that welcomes people of all ages, those full of faith and those seeking answers to important spiritual questions. Everyone is valued for who they are and encouraged to use the gifts and talents they have. In addition to Sunday church services and children & youth activities we offer midweek home groups and a pastoral care scheme. There are three toddler groups for the under 5′s. We have an active Mothers' Union group (and Lunch Club), social events (CAMEO – Come And Meet Each Other), and lots more. Every year we add new things to the life of our church.
